A website for your landscaping business
Landscaping is one of the few trades where the finished work is genuinely beautiful and the demand changes completely every three months. A site that ignores either of those facts is leaving most of its value on the table.
What a landscaping business site needs
The front page should change with the season
Spring cleanups, summer maintenance, fall leaf cleanup, and whatever winter means where you work — snow clearing in one region, irrigation blowouts in another. A site that says exactly the same thing in January as in May is only ever aimed at a quarter of the year's demand.
Before and after is the strongest thing you own
Very few trades produce a result this photogenic. A pair of honest photographs of the same yard does more persuading than several paragraphs describing your process, and it's an asset you already generate on every job.
Keep maintenance and design-build apart
A recurring biweekly mow and a five-figure patio project are different decisions made by people in completely different frames of mind. Mixing them into one services list makes the maintenance customer think you're too expensive and the project customer think you're too small.
Let people describe the property before you visit
Rough lot size, slope, access for machinery, what's already planted, and whether there's a gate you can get a truck through. Collecting that in the inquiry saves you the site visits that were never going to turn into a job.
Be strict about where you'll travel
Route density is the entire economics of maintenance work — a contract twenty minutes outside your cluster can lose money at any price. Naming your area on the site is both a local search signal and a filter that protects your schedule.

Questions
Can I change the site when the season turns?
Yes, and it's worth putting in the calendar. Once your site is Live, turn on Edit above your site in Steed and click the words you want to change; they go live when you save. Anything bigger, ask in chat and it waits for your yes.
How do I show before-and-after photos properly?
Your site is built with the photos you give Steed when you pick your design, and once it's Live you can turn on Edit, tap any picture and swap in another of yours. Your real jobs are far more convincing than anything generic.
Can customers book a maintenance visit online?
Yes, with booking, a step built with credits, taken only when you approve it. Customers pick a time from the hours you set. A regular maintenance plan can be a monthly membership they pay on the site, with their visits booked under it.
