Hey everyone, Jake here, founder of Steed.
I built Steed with one goal: give everyday people a team that handles the technical side of their dream business, with no tech experience needed. Whether it's a side hustle, a business you already run, or something brand new, I want to help more people succeed.
Building a business is hard. There's forming the company, the lawyers, the LLC, the taxes. Then there's the tech, which used to feel impossible. There are plenty of DIY tools, but as a founder you want to focus on your business and your customers, not sit at a screen all day.
After years leading tech startups, I stepped away from corporate life and tried to build a business on a small budget, using only the DIY tools out there. I wasn't impressed 🙂 Low quality, confusing or missing tools, stitching several together to make my test business work, arguing with AI chat all day: the process was broken.
So I built Steed. You start with one conversation about you, your business and your goals, and our AI employees do the rest: they plan it, design it and build it on your own site. It takes a few hours of building, and you approve each step along the way. Beyond the site, your team automates your emails (Belle writes them, you approve, and they send on their own), runs your customer list, and Hawk, your data scientist, reads your numbers and tells you how to improve.
We're a young company, so we're not perfect (yet). But we read every note, and we're here for you. Happy creating!
